If you could have a second home anywhere, where would you live? Big Sur and Paris. I can’t pick one!

What are three words to describe your style?

  • Layered

  • Lived-in

  • Approachable

Tell us about your childhood bedroom? A purple sponge painted homage to Stephanie and Michelle Tanner’s bedroom with an inflatable sofa from dELiA*s and posters of JTT.

What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? A pair of Blue Green Works Palm sconces. The glow that they emit was theperfect starting point when designing my living room.

No room is complete without: Layered lighting

Things you omit from:

  • A flower arrangement: Orchids

  • An hors d’oeuvre platter: Anything with mayo…yuck!

  • A bar cabinet: Maraschino cherries

A song for:

  • Dinner at home: Jazz

  • Working at your desk: Alabama Shakes

  • Going for a run: Music that I hear in a workout class that I have to use Shazam because I am far too old to know it ;)

Biggest Vice? Expensive matcha

Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? Yep! Timeless, comfortable and a mix of high and low.

Who is your star crush? Paul Rudd

What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it? Wall to wall carpet

What design book do you find yourself going back to again and again? Eight Homes

For posterity, what would you like your work to be known for? Creating functional space
