Kristin Harrison
If you could have a second home anywhere, where would you live? Queenstown, New Zealand
What are three words to describe your style?
Effortless
Cool
Livable
Tell us about your childhood bedroom? (a sentence or two would be great here) Rearranged to the max to make use of every single inch. Calm blues, creams and light woods.
What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? (a sentence or two would be great here) I don’t know if this is technically an investment piece, but I previously spent so much money on coffee that we got a built-in Miele maker, and it immediately paid for itself. Other than that, vintage lighting.
In the history of design, if you could hire any designer other than yourself, who would it be? Bryan Graybill or Riccardo Tisci (complete opposite ends of the spectrum)
No room is complete without_levels of light

If you were on an Ambien high and internet shopping, what would you buy? (if the product is something specific, please include a link) An entirely new wardrobe that I don’t even need, hands down.
Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? I think so. I always end up wearing things that are more casual at first glance, but then as you continue looking at it, you see how cool it actually is.
Who is your star crush? Theo James
What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it? Leopard print, but I never say never.
What design book do you find yourself going back to again and again? The Interior Design Handbook by Frida Ramstedt, gifted to me by one of my mentors
