Jennifer Worts
If you could have a second home anywhere, where would you live? Maine - sooo many happy summer memories with my boys.
What are three words to describe your style?
Tailored

Thoughtful
Tell us about your childhood bedroom? Originally a large, English-style room shared with my younger sister, our space was a vibrant playground that let our imaginations run wild. It featured a teepee, spool beds, and butter yellow floral wallpaper, with three large windows all dressed in colourful printed curtains. It was later divided into two separate rooms for our older childhood years, allowing us each to choose our own wallpaper and decor to create our own private havens.
What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? As a young designer, I chose to invest in restoration. I had inherited a gorgeous mahogany dining table and sideboard, and I had them refinished in a French polish. I then transformed the accompanying chairs with a bold upholstery. It was a major splurge at the time, but it completely breathed new life into the entire set.
In the history of design, if you could hire any designer other than yourself, who would it be? Roman & Williams - I’ve had a major design crush on these two for years.

Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? Day to day, yes; Classic, with a wink. That said, I’m a little more rock and roll at heart.
Who is your star crush? Robert Redford, back in the day
What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it? “Never” is not in my design vocabulary.
What design book do you find yourself going back to again and again? Shingle & Stone: Thomas Kligerman Houses I return to it for his effortless handling of light and volume. It’s visually stunning and captures the quiet grounded energy of how a space should feel.
For posterity, what would you like your work to be known for? Timeless, Considered, Bold on occasion.
