What are three words to describe your style?
Colorful
Fun
Idiosynchratic (a bit of weird!)
Tell us about your childhood bedroom? I grew up in Hong Kong sharing a bedroom with a bunk with my brother. We had the orange shag carpet requisite of the late 70’s early 80’s and a lot of rattan furniture which was easy to come by in Asia.
What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? I bought a mid-century teak credenza from the Rose Bowl Flea Market in LA. I love the wood grain and it’s moved with me from LA to New York and to Atlanta and served as a buffet, media center and entry console!
In the history of design, if you could hire any designer other than yourself, who would it be? Eileen Grey or Anne Albers - such unique points of view and powerful women in a design world dominated by men.
No room is complete without Art!
People think of me as serious, but I am really sarcastic and corny!

If you were on an Ambien high and internet shopping, what would you buy? Well this is embarrassing to say but I’ve been on the hunt for a comfortable bra for like a year now and I think all of the ads I get fed on instagram are bras. So I’d probably end up with packages upon packages of undergarments!
Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? Yes - when I’m trying anyways. Colorful, fun and modern.
Who is your star crush? Mark Ruffalo
What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it? Drenching a room in a single pattern from the walls to the drapes to the upholstery
